My Book Corner is very proud to be interviewing Australian children’s author Katrina Germein. Her stories have won Notable Book Commendations from the Children’s Book Council of Australia and her book ‘Big Rain Coming’ has been published around the world, remaining in print over a decade after its release.  ‘My Dad Thinks He’s Funny’ instantly proved so popular that it was reprinted within a month of its launch.

Wednesday marks the FIFTH Indigenous Literacy Day ... and everyone is invited to participate!  This is a big day, with so many booksellers and schools participating, you can't ignore it.   My Book Corner gives you the details - where and how you can get involved.

National Simultaneous Story Time is now in its 12th year! My Book Corner tells you what's involved and provides a round up of some great Cranky Bear activities.

Saturday 14th April 2012 at Outré Gallery central Melbourne was the setting selected for the reading of Owl Know How a new picture book by talented Australian creators Isobel Knowles and Cat Rabbit. Owl Know How is a unique creation which delighted and entertained a very captive audience.
