My Book Corner has put together a great selection of picture books which are particularly great for sharing during the run up to Mother's Day. New for this year is Doug MacLeod's The Night Before Mother's Day, this is the one you should be giving to your own mum, whilst the distinctive styles of both Anna Walker and Eric Carle just had to make it to our list. Both books from Magabala are deep, meaningful and full of glorious images. Stolen Girl shines the spotlight on the impact forcible removal had on the mother / daughter relationship - essential reading.
