Fantastic

We bought this yesterday for our 2 year old and read it to him and his friend who is a little older last night when they were having a sleepover. The 2.5 year old thought it was hysterical whereas my little one is still a little young to 'get it' he had a ball laughing at his friend laughing! I did worry a little about putting the idea of aliens in the house into their heads but soon caught myself on for over worrying! I think this book will become a firm favourite in our house.

Hillarious!

I bought this as a present for my 3.5 yo , and it came with the little alien toy and it has been the perfect fix to turn a frown upside down. Just the reference to this book brings on a fit of giggles that is sure to melt any heart. And laundry time is fun too, make sure the aliens haven't paid us a visit! ;) And may I add, that the alien toy has become a resident cuddly during bedtime :)

Aliens Love Underpants

We were given this book for Christmas. It's a rhyming book with beautiful illustrations of funny aliens stealing knickers off the washing line.

My children love this book - there is something apparently very amusing about an alien hiding in your knickers... I on the other hand, find it a bit creepy. I'm not sure why, but I just think this author is trying too hard. I worry that my children will watch me putting the washing away and wonder if there are aliens in the wardrobe at bedtime.

Maybe I am too conservative, maybe I associate it with the person who gave it to us, but I don't choose this book for a night time read. Maybe as the mother of girls, it's more of a boys' book?
