Full of imagination and quirky drawings this book is pure fun and enjoyment.  A perfect formula for young readers, My Book Corner highly recommends this one.

This latest publication from classic Australian Author Alison Lester has been shortlisted by the Children's Book Council of Australia for 2011, and has already won ABIA Book of the Year 2011 for younger children. Alison was also chosen to be Australia's Inaugural Children's Laureate alongside Boori Monty Pryor.

A glimpse of the illustrations and a read of Dub Leffler's intention (see blurb)  were enough to catch the attention of My Book Corner.  I really enjoyed sharing this one with my children tonight.

When I arrived in Australia three years ago I went straight to the library to learn more about the country I had landed in.  The first book I walked away with was 'Maybe Tomorrow'. I have since recommended it to friends, book clubs and now I recommend it to you.  Many parts of it have stayed with me, and I hope that My Book Corner does it justice here.

It's the one that started it all - aliens, under pants .... how could it go wrong?! This book turns aliens in to non scary, quite loveable funny characters.  Their only mission in life? To steal our underpants!!

Oh this is such a powerful, beautifully written children's book.  The powerful nature of it is absorbed more by the parents, the message for the children is one of dancing, family and overcoming.  I'm so impressed by a book that can reach both audiences.

I first discovered Boori Monty Pryor three years ago via 'Maybe Tomorrow'. When I saw his name on 'Shake A Leg' I was eager to get it home and introduce it to my children.  This is an entertaining and educating read - a must have.
